The texts forum seems like an appropriate place if you'd like to describe your system in a public forum. You could also send it to info@archive.org. We're always interested in feedback and contributions that might make Internet Archive better, faster and more efficient.
Another option for a permanent archive is to create a white paper and upload it as an item to archive.org. If you do this please let us know the URL so we can take a look also.

I did my highschool yearbook and scanned it through Irfanview directly as a PDF:
http://www.archive.org/details/Brentwood_High_School_Arrowhead_1970_This is the better way to do it. I scanned them all as PDF files and then used PDFmerge to create the final PDF's. The Archive had no problem handling them. I also scanned them at 600 dpi.
