Re: Media Player & Wordpress |
wordpress.com does not support flash so the player won't work there. if you have your blog hosted at a site that supports flash and javascript then it should work.

Re: Media Player & Wordpress |
Oh thank you so much for getting back to me. I suppose I am bit confused. If you check out our site, you will notice that I was able to embed the players in the side bar as widgets. Not sure why. I guess wordpress is not the place for us?

Re: Media Player & Wordpress |
i believe (but i could be mistaken) it works because your site is hosted by wordpress.org. is your blog on wordpress.com or wordpress.org?

Re: Media Player & Wordpress |
I spotted this note in Wordpress help. Note sure what to make of it...
"Archive.org can be used to host podcast audio files but archive.org uses re-directs on the file paths it publishes - this confuses WordPress, and consequently, the Podcast publication fails (missing enclosure tag error).
To avoid this error, if you are hosting your audio files on archive.org, you need to add a Custom Field called "enclosure" and paste the full url for the mp3 file in the Value field. "

Re: Media Player & Wordpress |
Did you figure out how to use wordpress with archive.org? I'm trying to get wordpress to recognise where the podcast is. Any ideas?
