you can have a mediatype=audio or mediatype=movies. but you can't have a video player in a mediatype=audio item.

i've uploaded videos to my netlabel before, ONLY videos not video + audio, so i guess it just read an audio track first. nothing conclusive, just discounting your theory...

you can upload a video to a mediatype=video item. That item can be in your collection. but you can't have a videoplayer in a mediatype=audio item, only in a mediatype=movies item.
