Re: Please Remove |
There seems to be more and more of this stuff showing up every day. Unfortunately I don't have time to search them out on a continuing basis and I there's probably a lot that would get by me even if I did have the time. Some of these guys are pretty sneaky. I don't know why they do it other than just the thrill of doing something they're not supposed to do. I just don't get it, the point of this, I mean. Why do they bother putting this stuff up?

Beyond the Time Barrier - Was Registration Valid? |
For "Beyond the Time Barrier" on the original registration they did not put the complete title. With that would the original registration be valid as well as the renewal.
They registered "Beyond the Barrier" but renewed "Beyond the Time Barrier".

Re: Beyond the Time Barrier - Was Registration Valid? |
I don't believe it's still under copyright. I was told the film was sold at auction after the production company went under (bankrupt?). Anyway, that's what I was told... So if the company was no longer in existence in 1987, how could they renew it?
Just sayin'! :)

Re: Beyond the Time Barrier - Was Registration Valid? |
Even if "Time Barrier" were still indeed copyright I could understand someone uploading it thinking it was pd. I've done that myself. My gripe is against those who do it intentionally. There is no way that any of the current tv shows I've been finding in CV are pd, and the uploaders of this material know it.
