you need to add the other seven files and re-derive the item.

to add files:
go into "edit item".
click "change the files".
click "Share", add the other seven files.
click update item.

to re-derive;
go back to the main page and click "edit item" again
click "change the information".
click "Item Manager"
click the "derive" button.

wait until the task has completed and your files and their derivative formats should be up. you then go back in to "edit item"and change the metadata as needed.

hope this helps.

Hello, thanks for the input, but the problem is that something went wrong before I could submit the uploaded files, and so the files were never 'checked in' and thus can't be derived. It requires admin attention at this point.

i am an admin. there is server maintenance in progress which could explain your issue. i didn't see the other seven files. that's why i suggested adding them and deriving the item. but if they successfully uploaded they may show up in a few hours once the maintenance is done so just be patient.

Okay, thanks, that might explain it. I checked again this morning and when I go to "edit item" > "change the files" it still gives me an error message of "item does not have metadata."

hi. i'm able to access metadata now through "edit item". i continue to be unable to locae the additional files so again i would suggest the process i described in a previous post to upload them and re-derive the item.

Thanks for your help, but I just checked right now and it still does not let me 'change the files' -- still getting the "item does not have metadata" error message. So I cannot add/delete any files to this show at this point...

Jeff, are you still doing server maintenance? I try to upload files using non-flash, but the upload never finishes. 92.9 KICK-FM Collection under Radio Programs.

hi rick. i've just successfully uploaded one of your older files with the http uploader. it seems to be running fine. if you continue to have trouble try uploading smaller batches, using a different browser or using a faster network if possible.
