Unfortunately it looks like OpenLibrary has changed its search options and no longer does full text search.
Google might work. For example to search for all occurrences of "Balbach" on Internet Archive, use this search:
filetype:txt site:archive.org BalbachIt assumes Google has index'd all books on the Archive, and that all the books have a .txt version.
