If you mean browsing Internet Archive's catalog in the same way its possible to browse Amazon's catalog on the Kindle, that would be impossible unless Amazon were to write software to do it. It would be nice, but probably unlikely to happen as there is no money in it for Amazon. But one can browse non-Amazon catalogs is via the Kindle's built-in web browser..

If one knows the Internet Archive URL for the book, it should be possible to direct download. I think (not sure) that Internet Archive creates .mobi files on the fly real-time as requested. So if you enter the base URL/name of the book, with a .mobi extension..

So, for example this book:
http://www.archive.org/details/diaryofnobody00gros

to download the mobi file, enter:

http://www.archive.org/download/diaryofnobody00gros/diaryofnobody00gros.mobi

changing "details" to "download", and adding "/diaryofnobody00gros.mobi" at the end.

A _direct_ download to Kindle isn't (yet) possible, but there is an easy and excellent workaround that I've already done several times as follows:

[1] Download the desired text in a Kindle supported format such as *.mobi to your computer or laptop.

[2] Plug the Kindle USB into the computer. (Many people aren't aware that the Kindle power cord has a USB "hidden" in the large end of the cord.)

[3] Kindle appears as a new drive

[4] Click on "Documents" in the Kindle drive (where you'll recognize the books you've already downloaded) and just drag-and=drop from the computer to the Kindle.

CAUTION: Books from sources other than Kindle _cannot_ be moved in and out of Archived items. If they are unintentionally deleted, which is easy to do since a Kindle can be a bit unstable, they are gone. For this reason, it is a good idea to keep a copy on your computer.
