Re: Bad link - Frederick Rolfe: Hadrian The Seventh |
There are six copies of Hadrian the Seventh listed on Internet Archive, all copied from Google Books
http://www.archive.org/search.php?query=hadrian%20the%20seventh..but none of them are actually Hadrian the Seventh. They were imported from Google Books, but Google Books does not currently have a copy. But on Hathi Trust - the academic repository where Google Book scans send a secondary copy - sure enough it is there, meaning GB had it at one time and then removed it:
http://catalog.hathitrust.org/Search/Home?checkspelling=true&lookfor=Hadrian+the+Seventh&type=all&submit=Find
.. but now it's in "search only" mode, probably because the three versions they have were published post-1923, even though the book is from 1904 and in the public domain. Perhaps related, the book is recently back in print.
Anyway, this doesn't help you, I don't think a full copy of it exists on IA or GB or Hathi

Re: Bad link - Frederick Rolfe: Hadrian The Seventh |
Thanks for pointing out the six books wrongly called
Hadrian the Seventh. In each case, we were originally provided an incorrect OCLC number, which we used to grab a catalog record - the wrong one, of course. All six books should now have correct metadata.
