a much different situation. near record-setting temperatures. 10 to 20 degrees above average. santa rosa at 91. that's one of our hottest. down in the south bay we have 87 in gilroy, and 84 right now in livermore. now, with all this warmth and a slight offshore wind, only 5 to 10 miles per hour, it has prompted a red-flag fire warning here for the north, east, and also for the south bay hills. it looks like the fire dangler be the highest for the north bay hills. winds from 15 to 25 miles per hour. and also some extremely low humidity into tomorrow morning. are we done with this wind? well, it looks like we're going to have one more day of it with the dry fire winds on thursday. then as we head throughout friday, we'll eventually get a cooler breeze coming our way. but we're not done with the heat yet either. look at this. as we head throughout thursday, we're already forecasting temperatures 95 degrees in livermore. santa rosa at 95. and also san jose at 90. this will be potential record-setting again, especially in the east bay. then as we head throughout next week, here comes another

i'll have more but a few records coming in not only in napa with low 90s, santa rosa, one of the hottest across the board with 94 degrees. besting the old of 88 in 2008. shattering that record. overall we're getting cooling throughout the north and the bay temperatures dropping in the upper 70s to low 80s. but as we take you out now, any one with allergies or respiratory problems will suffer. air quality is decreasing. you can see the haze with the sun setting. we're finding a similar picture in the south bay across san jose and even in san francisco some fog conditions. in the sacramento valley a red flag fire warning also for the northeast and south bay hills with our largest concern through tomorrow morning for the north bay hills. that's where we'll have the lowest humidity and also winds from 15 to 25 miles per hour. another 12-18 hours to go of this wind, that's going to be drying before we get changes. speaking of changes, over the next seven days we're going to track one of the strongest systems we've seen in months, at least with widespread rain that will get here

state university student is recovering at a santa rosa hospital after falling from the third floor of his apartment building. it happened at the alleg grow student apartments in beverly park. here's the details. reporter: this white fence was broken when 19-year-old tyler glen fell three stories. his fall was captured on surveillance video we were able to watch. apartment managers did not let us use the video on air but helped the police determine what happened. >> at one point in the video, a dark subject that evidently fell, broke the railing here, and landed basically where we're standing right now. >> police believe the sonoma state college student was hanging from who pieces of wooden rail that came loose from the third floor. police say alcohol was involved. >> the subject indicated he had been drinking, but i can't indicate how much he had been drinking. we are not going to do a toxicology report. >> residents we talked to said glen's fall caused a commotion. >> i was laying in bed and i heard like, till, tyler, plies don't go out. >> they say there are often loud alcohol-fu
