172 itemsWelcome to Anarchivism
Anarchivism is an ad-hoc group of volunteer archivists who are primarily aimed at saving and preserving both digital and analog media when current methods of preservation seem lacking. Officially started in 2012 as a way to pool together projects by several individuals, the group has become a centralized haven for capturing and sharing little-known or forgotten media. This does not simply include copying files from a website, but hunting down missing entries and filling holes to create as complete a collection as possible. New projects are brought in by personal interest or request, and will go on as long as they need to. No project is too big or too small.
