Subject: Was not a Concentration Camp
But a Prisoner of War Camp..Big Difference, though I can see some being offended regardless..Werner Klemperer (Col. Klink) had said he would not play the character if he ever was shown to outsmart the POW's or the Germans where shown as "winning" the situation week by week..

I am neither Jewish nor Greman but trying to find ANYTHING funny about a concetration camp was & is one of the most ignorant & horrifying 'ideas' that ever came out of network television.

Did you know the pilot for Hogan't Heroes was filmed in b/w and that the character Lebow (Robert Clary) was afraid of dogs, especially german shepards?

I'mg glad somebody has uploaded this fun piece of ephemeral TV. "Hogan's Heroes" was a good "stupid" comedy. It should be noted that 2 of the nazis in the show were played by Jews, So Jews really shouldn't get offended. This show was actually very popular in both America and Germany, So German's shouldn't be offended either. It was all clean fun that the whole family could watch.
