Ed Gardner Does Well In "Duffy's Tavern"
What a treasure! As good as the radio program? No, not in my opinion! But certainly a good transition program from radio to television. Ed Gardner's voice and facial mannerisms do well in television. Thanks to Internet Archive for bringing this 57 year old show to the public. This is a valuable show, not only from the stand point of it coming from early television, but one coming to television from a popular run on radio.

Average 1950s Sitcom
An average 1950s sitcom. Not among the better shows of the period, but not terrible.
The episode runs a healthy 26 minutes and has decent picture quality.
Yeah.
