thats because you are trying to join a 1.9.2 server... That installer does the same i posted earlier/edits the gameinfo.. again: there is no working server for linux. only windows binarys work. so...

That's where we start. Locate your gameinfo.txt in STEAM\SteamApps\SourceMods\sourceforts and open it with notepad or some other...
