Release: Block spawner prefabs
 
Some may know that I've been working on spawner models and prefabs for mappers. In the prefabs I have included one pair of spawner w/o wireframe effects and one set with. Also the game_phase_control is in the prefab so build wall ect needs to be added to that which means others need to be deleted.
Well I'm done heres some pics

During BuildPhase

As mentioned in the ReadMe (which no ones gunna read) I mention that you MUST include the models and materials in your by BSPzipping them into the map otherwise the clients won't see it.

Note: There are three models included
  1. Base (2 skins - Obviously red/blue)
  2. Screen (4 skins - RedOn/Off and BlueOn/Off)
  3. Wall


Also the materials are sort of final, seeing as I'm no texture artist I don't want people bitching about how they look. Feel free to modify the skins, or prefabs to suit your maps.

Wow, those look excellent. Do you have any plans to apply to the development team?

I was thinking of applying, but my spare time is short and I could not constantly turn out models in quick speed.

I'm no artist at all, so, I shouldn't be pointing this out, but, have you noticed that the monitors for the block spawners are almost "shining in the dark" ?

Suggestion, make the entire spawner the same way, and only change the front screen ;)
That way, will really look like only the screen is being illuminated :)

I hope this suggestion being of any use :)

And... Have you considered applying for the dev team ? :)

Suggestion: Let KG or someone redo the screen, he might be able to add some funky animated buttons or something.

Well thanks for pointing that out, otherwise I wouldn't have noticed. The alpha on the screens seem to have messed up. I will upload fixed version. TY :)

You should include a small prefab for lazy mappers, including small lights to illuminate the area around the screen. or did you already do that?
