Reviving the mod!
 
Hi all...
Long time I don't come here, long time I haven't played games tbh... I hope you still remember this old faggot and /SyN/ :)

I met Nightor* the other day online playing sf, joined the game and I realized I just missed the mod so badly... It was an awesome pug that day, we lost, overloaded, but was still good (lol I lost all my engy and soldier skill, and went to the basics - snipe flag d and try to rocketjump in :P).

So here I am, trying to do what seems to be the impossible. I wanna revive this mod. You may say it isn't dead, but seriously, no dev updates for a long time from what I've seen, apparently no developing being made either... This leads me to some questions that I hope the community might answer...

1) Is the dev still interested?
2) How many active puggers (ppl that really can play it well) are there?
3) Being a player, what can you do to the mod? Can you map / model or code?

I am willing to revive neoforts. Historically, any time neoforts releases something so does sourceforts. We will see if that trend continues.

Plenty of puggers these days, and many new ones stepping in.
Also I believe Captain Morgan made a new SourceForts Pug group for people willing to pug (since problems with not everyone having everyone on friendlists).

Sorry, no, not letting it die...

kaidus, m8, long time no see or talk... I want to help dev. I want to help the community too. So yeah, contacting you, read PM.

Also, arenaceous, why is that? Why let such awesome mod idea just die because of no updates?
I am pretty fucking sure that many players would come back for sf 2.0 if the devs do it right. What we need to do as the community is to help decide what is "right", and keep giving feedback on it and beta testing.
Showing interest is also a must, and here I am doing it.

Seriously, modding is "easy" when you got a team with interest and experience and also a community supporting it.

I think that myself and the whole community really want to know, what is the progress on sf2 (or project haven).

-Game modes decided and programmed?
-Maps?
-Models? Animations?
-Guns decided? Balance tested?
-Classes decided?

Would be great if you guys could tell us it... Even more if you could be specific, like, 30% done the maps and so on.
