1.9.0 was extremely fun. As was already mentioned, the community was tightly-knit and had a great time with each other. Fort design/tricking-jumping was still evolving, and I had some
really fun times competing with other designers to create nigh-impossible trick flag d entrances (anyone remember people forcing me to show me how to get into my flag d's

). There was a superior (imo obviously) community ethic, including flag entrances/exits. People played to have fun, not to win (i.e. less competition driven).

Best memory ever: Entro climbing over the build wall in sf_deck and getting banned by FicWill. God that night was awesome. I can't remember if it was the same time TeamOff was masquerading as Jimbos... (10,000 Jimbos Under the Sea, Jimbo and Jimboer, etc.)
I'm not really sure where development is, or where it's going to go. Sourceforts is a pretty simple idea which this community has managed to spin every which way. I think the most important thing is a strong community and playing spirit.
Anyway, I still play now and again. I've been in NJ over the summer in an Extended Stay (hotel with horrible wireless), so I couldn't play without an 800 ping.
See you guys in-game!
