What happened?
 

I know there's many threads like this, but I have tried to restructure my thread and the contained question in it a little.

I know the community died out, theirs a lot of controversy that exists on the interwebs too but is PH still in-dev?

This game had a damn good concept, and plenty of potential (even if it was monetized) - what happened?

No, no...I noticed that thread before I even registered. It's just 2 months old and I thought there may be some news since then.

Unfortunately work has been a tad slower than the development team would like, but they are preoccupied with their schooling and real life events. As a tester I can say there has been a few minor updates to the game. Also the dev team had a meeting a week or so back that lasted like six hours or something like that.

I am going to rage this thread because nothing interesting has happened around here recently.

The thread listed is still pretty accurate. I've sort of kept it updated (well not much has happened)

Since that thread:

- activity has picked up somewhat
- 6 hour meeting
- beta team cleanout
- planning around the game's development is coming around

Stuff will get going soon. I think. Game isn't dead, not yet anyway!

Could I possibly hook up as a tester? I'd love to see what's new from this and I have played Sourceforts since 1.9.2, though obviously I no longer play now as there is no point (Several times I have been motivated to try and get a bunch of friends in for a good afternoon of SF though).

I'd love to contribute in other ways, but I'm not much of a programmer or anything.

hey, we are not recruiting any other testers at the moment, we need to get things done before even starting testing shit. Another thing is that we (the developers) will hand-pick testers. We are trying to keep the teams (dev and test) clean, where we have people who are motivated and have the time to put in this project. (we used to have people with dev access just because they were "oldfags" and wanted to see. but not anymore.

I hope this helps you (and other readers) to understand that we will not release anything (info, screenshots etc...) unless it's worth showing/posting.

I applied through the form many months ago, never got any reply at all from it. Thought I'd just ask again here that's all.

I understand that it's not a viable product to disclose right now, but I must emphasize the only reason I lack motivation is because nobody else plays.

I must of been one of the last few to leave aswell, there was only 2 or 3 servers around by the time I disappeared.
