I played this game at its prime and even for a while afterwards. It has since become a memory from long away, but today for some reason i remembered this game and decided to check to see what has become of it, and was greeted by this hodgepodge of trolls, people trying to revive the game, people saying its pointless to revive the game, people reminnising of the 'good ol days', etc... But i have one question for you all:

Who the hell is stil paying to keep the website up?! There doesn't seem to be any of the development team left here, so hwo is keeping the website alive? Just curious....

So, are there any other plans in the team's scope right now or has everyone gone their separate ways? Forgive me if i'm asking questions that everyone already knows. I'm just curious about what happened to this game that gave me so many hours of enjoyment.

SF has a long history of rage and troll (especially here). The devs are working on a new version (as far as I know) but it's mostly under wraps (probably since any dev update is met with the same type of 'enthusiasm' you saw ingame).

Things are slow (ingame/ forums/ development) because we (the people who played SF pre death) all grew up and went to school and/or got jobs. If another version of SF ever makes it to release, it won't be for us and nobody included in the 'we' group is holding his/her (wait it's a he now... we confirmed that) breath.

Check back in a few months. Maybe we'll be lucky. o/

Development right now mostly seems to boil down to a few minutes here and there, because the devs that do anything have little spare time due to school.(Should really start copy pasting this :P, seems to get said a lot)
We can only hope that something gets done in SourceForts: Project Haven(PH) and the devs tease...
