common guys, just get admins like xenon and he will ban everyone (even his own admins). That fixed the griefing issue (well kinda...)

It pretty much pointed out "Put a portal here" or "Stand on this button/go here"

Of course, in a larger multi-player game like SourceForts(More than two player) such a mechanic could get annoying with maybe 10+ players using it at a time, but it might be something cool to play with, Build a wall here, destroy this wall/block, and etc.

yea i can see the ping tool annoying as hell if people spam it, and we all know they will. could give such tools to a class only? idk... would stop severe spam but it would still exist. i'd hope that the block dmg skins/effect we have would help people understand that is the block other peeps are targeting and attacking.

It seems to work pretty good in dota 2..

Dota2 = MOBA, so the pings are on the minimap (being a small decal)
SF = FPS, so the pings are in your face (would be a pretty big decal)

As a first post I would like to point out that this website needs a complete overhaul so people would actually realize that something has changed. If a visitor doesn't check the forums then it's pretty much gg for him and he might as well leave.

Nothing has really changed imo.

more like nothing has been published publicly yet. But yeah, once we'll reach a certain point we'll start making big changes to the website (if not get a new one)
