Luminous Forts - Game modes Classic CTF (Capture the Flag) This is the original and backwards compatible (Sourceforts 1.9.4.1) game mode based on the original Sourceforts. The game mode is comprised of capture the flag, phases (build and combat) and simpleton classes that may or may not be changed. Bumrush Removed with the release Sourceforts 1.9.3, bumrush was a game mode with potiental that was never reached. Sourceforts 1.9.2 had a crude representation of this gamemode. Bumrush is the same as Classic CTF, but with a twist. One team attacks while the other defends. The flag is in the attackers base and the capture point is in defenders base. During this phase allowing the attacking team to play deathmatch and swapping the teams every 3 captures would greatly reduce boredom. Taken Taken is a new game mode not found in the original Sourceforts. Taken is similar to what would be a mixture of Bumrush and Classic CTF. Instead having your capture point in your base, it's in the enemy's base and instead of having two flags, there is only one. This one flag is shared by both the teams and they must rush to capture the flag. Modern Capture the Flag (codename) This will be the new game mode that comprises the main foundation of LF. It will be comprised of different classes, weapons and entities. Build and combat phases will be rethought to reduce the length of each. Also, building in general will be rethought, along with new designs for the gravity gun and blocks. This is scheduled for a later release of Luminous Forts.
